Some people and animals take their snacks very seriously and don’t appreciate being interrupted while they’re in the middle of enjoying a treat. @keepersierra is a zookeeper at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, Kansas. She cares for a baby Pygmy Hippo<\/a> named Mars and his mom, Posie, and the baby keeps both of them very busy. He doesn’t like being told what to do, hates it when people go into their indoor enclosure at night, and apparently isn’t a fan of being interrupted while napping or snacking.<\/p>\n

The clip is short and starts with Sierra standing behind him, repeatedly trying to get the little guy’s attention. She walks around to where he can see her and tries again. When he finally looks up and acknowledges her, the look on his face lets us all know exactly how he feels!<\/p>\n

We totally agreed with Sierra<\/a> when she joked in the caption, “Note to self, don’t bother Mars while he’s eating<\/a>.” She’d be wise to just stay far away until he’s done!<\/p>\n

Funny Reactions to Mars Being Disturbed While He’s Eating<\/p>\n

It was clear to everybody that Mars did not approve of Sierra bothering him during mealtime. @Ruki shared a screenshot of the look on Mars’ face when he finally looked at Sierra and laughed, “The look of disdain at your interruption, LOL!” @kyng.Lu added, “He looked up like, ‘What bro? What!??’ LOL!\u201d<\/p>\n

@Biffo316 shared some advice that Sierra should’ve already known: “Don’t disturb Mars Attacks when he’s eating his snacks!”<\/p>\n

Another commenter pointed out, “The attitude! He must be a teenager<\/a> now. LOL!” @Erin Murray added, “My Frenchie has the same side-eye<\/a>!” @lizbkelly shared, “He is not happy with you!”<\/p>\n

Several commenters all noticed how big Mars is getting. We laughed when @smorepie joked, “I don\u2019t think you\u2019re scooping him up again!” As of mid-January, Mars weighed about 74 pounds. It’s true that Sierra won’t be able to pick him up for much longer!<\/p>\n
