Iran continues to face a daily onslaught of US and Israeli air attacks in Tehran and across the country.<\/p>\n
Iran has fired deadly cluster missiles at central Israel in what it says is \u201crevenge\u201d for Israel\u2019s assassination<\/a> of its security chief Ali Larijani, as the war<\/a> the United States and Israel triggered against Iran rages towards a third week.<\/p>\n The attack overnight on Tuesday used multiple-warhead missiles that can better evade defence systems, killing two people in Israel\u2019s Ramat Gan area near Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n Recommended Stories list of 3 itemsend of list<\/p>\n Falling shrapnel injured several others and caused significant property damage, including at a Tel Aviv train station, according to Israeli media reports.<\/p>\n In a statement, Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the attack exacted \u201crevenge for the blood of martyr Dr. Ali Larijani and his companions\u201d.<\/p>\n Iran held funerals in Tehran on Wednesday for Larijani as well as Gholamreza Soleimani, head of the Basij paramilitary force, who were both killed in Israeli air strikes. According to Press TV, the ceremony took place as officials and mourners gathered to honour the two figures.<\/p>\n Al Jazeera\u2019s Nida Ibrahim, reporting from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, described it as a \u201cdifficult night\u201d in Israel, with the incoming cluster munitions causing \u201ca lot of alarm\u201d.<\/p>\n She said the two people killed in the country \u2013 a couple in their 70s \u2013 had a safe room in their home but were unable to reach it in time, raising concern that Israel\u2019s air raid sirens are not sounding quickly enough for people to react.<\/p>\n Israel hits Iranian judiciary facility, kills 11 in western Iran<\/p>\n Iran followed up with another wave of missile strikes<\/a> on central Israel on Wednesday, as it faced the daily onslaught of US and Israeli air attacks.<\/p>\n One attack struck a judiciary facility in southern Iran\u2019s Larestan, killing and injuring civilians and judicial staff, according to the judiciary\u2019s Mizan news agency. Another targeted natural gas facilities associated with its offshore South Pars field, reported Tasnim.<\/p>\n Several other attacks took place in western Iran, including one that killed seven people and injured 56 in a densely populated part of Dorud city, and another that killed four people in a rural part of the Chegeni region, Tasnim added.<\/p>\n
