An insider also tells us that the women of the show (Alexia Nepola, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, Larsa Pippen, Stephanie Shojaee and friends Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton) were given a heads up before the news was delivered.<\/p>\n
Though it is not the first time the series has been shelved, the network\u2019s decision comes amid the show\u2019s low ratings.<\/p>\n
The reality series \u2014 which concluded Season 7 with a bombshell three-part reunion<\/a> in October 2025 \u2014 has long been among the least-watched of Bravo\u2019s \u201cReal Housewives\u201d franchises.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Real Housewives of Miami\u201d has been put on pause. Alexander Tamargo\/Bravo<\/p>\n Many Bravoholics speculated trouble might be brewing for the cast after it was reported that filming for Season 8 was expected to begin earlier this year, but hadn\u2019t started yet. <\/p>\n \u201cThere is some chatter amongst those in the know that \u2018RHOM\u2019 is going to be canceled. There has been trouble with casting,\u201d one source told Reality Blurb<\/a> of the situation on Wednesday. The outlet was the first to report the news. <\/p>\n The insider told the outlet that the issue is due in part to Nepola and her ex-husband<\/a> Todd\u2019s $10 million defamation lawsuit<\/a> against the show, which he filed in October.<\/p>\n Bravo fans speculated there was trouble brewing for the beloved reality series after it was reported the production on Season 8 \u2014 which was scheduled to start earlier this year \u2014 had not started yet.
