Victoria Villarroel knew when it was time for her to stop keeping up with the Kardashians.<\/p>\n

Kylie Jenner<\/a>\u2019s former assistant\u2014who worked for the reality star from 2015 to 2020\u2014recalled the exact moment both she and Kylie knew it was time for her to move on, telling Kylie\u2019s BFF and Victoria\u2019s podcast cohost Stassie Karanikolaou she remembered it \u201clike it was yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is like year five,\u201d Victoria explained on the March 18 episode of Better Half with Stas and Vic<\/a>. \u201cMe and Kylie, obviously we had a working relationship. But you can’t not get so close to a person that you see every single day and you know everything about and you’re with them at all times, good or bad. You just become close to this person.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the 34-year-old shared, she and Kylie were in the kitchen when the Kardashians star mentioned she needed her laptop, which was upstairs. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Oof, who’s gonna get that?\u2019\u201d Victoria laughed. \u201c’I don’t want to go get your laptop.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

It was then that she and Kylie realized it was time for Victoria to move on to a new endeavor. And Victoria is grateful for how kind Kylie was throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was amazing. I remember being so nervous and thinking, like, \u2018Am I making the right decision? What if I’m leaving the best thing\u2014best job I could ever have?\u2019\u201d Victoria said. \u201c’Cause people were in my ear being like, \u2018You’re gonna leave? People would die for this job.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

But as Kylie, 28, told her, \u201c\u2019Oh my god, Vic, I want you to thrive, and I’m gonna be here supporting you. And I love you so much.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Before taking on the role as Kylie\u2019s assistant, Victoria had been an intern at Teen Vogue and later joined Kris Jenner\u2019s Jenner Communications as an office manager, which led to her job with Kylie.<\/p>\n

And while she was originally assistant to both Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner, Victoria admitted on the podcast that \u201cit became too difficult to do both of them at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Kylie was launching Kylie Cosmetics, so it made sense for Victoria to continue on with her, especially because she had more of \u201ca creative role\u201d on top of assistant duties.<\/p>\n

Of course, she made sure not to leave Kendall in the lurch, joking she \u201cgave Kendall\u201d her sister Sofia Villarroel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told Kendall, I was like, \u2018Please don’t hate me. I have a peace offering: my sister, my DNA,\u2019\u201d she laughed. \u201c’Basically you get me, but you probably will like her more because she’s way more like you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
