Foo Fighters<\/a> have shared another new single, \u2018Caught In The Echo\u2019. You can listen to it below.<\/p>\n

The song marks the third preview of Dave Grohl<\/a> and co\u2019s 12th studio album, \u2018Your Favorite Toy\u2019<\/a>, which is released on April 24 via Roswell Records\/Columbia Records. It follows last year\u2019s \u2018Asking For A Friend\u2019<\/a> and the record\u2019s title track<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is just a test\/ Of a broken broadcast system\/ Consider this an evaluation\/ Of my hallucinations,\u201d Grohl screams in the first verse. \u201cBut this is not a test\/ This is a conversation\/ I have another proposition\/ Only under one condition.\u201d<\/p>\n

The raw tune harnesses the classic Foos sounds, and sees the frontman declare: \u201cI got caught in the echo again\/ From side to side\/ I\u2019ve been caught in the echo again\/ Decide, decide, decide, decide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foo Fighters showcased another new track, \u2018Of All People\u2019, at their recent run of intimate UK and Ireland shows<\/a> in Dublin<\/a>, London<\/a> and Manchester.<\/p>\n

The band will embark on their European \u2018Take Cover\u2019 tour this summer<\/a>, including two concerts at Anfield stadium in Liverpool (find any remaining tickets here<\/a>). Their European festival dates feature Mad Cool<\/a>,\u00a0Nos Alive<\/a>,\u00a0Pinkpop<\/a>\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll play some North American dates over the summer and autumn<\/a>, too, and have announced an Australia and New Zealand leg for 2026 and 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last month, Grohl revealed that Foos\u2019 forthcoming album was stacked with \u201cuptempo\u201d and \u201cnoisy, loud bangers\u201d\u00a0that feel like they\u2019re from \u201cthe old days\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking later, Grohl was reminded that\u00a0The Beatles<\/a> came to an end after their 12th LP, \u2018Let It Be\u2019, and went on to explain that he wasn\u2019t sure about when Foos would release their final record<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery record has been our last record,\u201d he said. \u201cSo, I kind of feel like at this point you just kind of \u2013 you make a record and you go, \u2018OK, well, let\u2019s do it again and let\u2019s see what happens\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

NME gave the \u2018Your Favorite Toy\u2019 title track a four-star review<\/a>, calling it a \u201cfutureproof rock beast\u201d that is \u201csnarlingly unapologetic\u201d. The new album follows 2023\u2019s \u2018But Here We Are\u2019<\/a>, and is the band\u2019s first with new drummer Ilan Rubin<\/a>, who replaced Josh Freese<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Grohl has said the death of former drummer Taylor Hawkins \u201cmade me question everything about life\u201d<\/a>, admitting: \u201cI still have a hard time making sense of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He\u2019d previously opened up about the \u201ccomplicated\u201d journey to find a new drummer following Hawkins\u2019 passing<\/a>.<\/p>\n
