Victoria Villarroel rose from an intern at Kris Jenner\u2019s Jenner Communications to Kylie Jenner\u2019s executive assistant<\/p>\n

She recalled a simple moment that made her realize it was time to leave<\/p>\n

Kylie Jenner supported her decision, and the two remain close<\/p>\n

Victoria Villarroel is reflecting on her journey from unpaid intern to one of Kylie Jenner\u2019s most trusted aides.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old recalled starting out as an unpaid intern at Kris Jenner\u2019s Jenner Communications, restocking the fridge, keeping spaces presentable and running errands as needed, in the March 18 episode of Better Half with Stas and Vic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More than a year later, she began working directly with Kylie as a house manager, later becoming a personal assistant and eventually an executive assistant.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember like it was yesterday\u2026 This is like year five,\u201d Victoria explained. \u201cMe and Kylie, obviously we had a working relationship. But you can’t not get so close to a person that you see every single day and you know everything about and you’re with them at all times, good or bad. You just become close to this person.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was during an ordinary moment in the kitchen, she said, that everything shifted. Kylie mentioned she needed her laptop, which was upstairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Oof, who’s gonna get that?\u2019\u201d Victoria laughed. \u201c’I don’t want to go get your laptop.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The comment, Villarroel explains, marked a turning point. In that moment, she says they both seemed to recognize it was time for Villarroel to move on to a new chapter.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was amazing,” Villarroel says of Kylie’s support. “I remember being so nervous and thinking, like, \u2018Am I making the right decision? What if I’m leaving the best thing\u2014best job I could ever have?\u2019 \u201d Victoria said. \u201c’Cause people were in my ear being like, \u2018You’re gonna leave? People would die for this job.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

According to Villarroel, Kylie responded with encouragement: \u201c ‘Oh my god, Vic, I want you to thrive, and I’m gonna be here supporting you. And I love you so much.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
