DeMaro says the district has \u201creceived information indicating that there were fatalities,\u201d but had limited information about the crash and was awaiting confirmation from appropriate authorities before saying more. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Due to the impact this incident has on the community, DeMaro canceled all school-sponsored activities through the weekend. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cAs we receive confirmed information, we will provide updates and share next steps to best support our students, staff, and school community\u201a\u201d DeMaro\u2019s statement continued. \u201cPlease keep all those involved in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">WPXI is working to learn more from Pennsylvania State Police.
