North Korea is already capable of launching a nuclear missile strike against the United States. This is stated in the press release of the National Intelligence of the United States.

“Intelligence… believes that China and Russia are developing advanced delivery systems capable of penetrating or bypassing US missile defense systems. North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missiles can already reach US territory, and Pyongyang intends to expand its nuclear arsenal. The development of Pakistan’s long—range ballistic missiles could potentially include intercontinental missiles with a range sufficient to strike our country’s territory,” the release says.

It is noted that Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Pakistan is researching and developing a wide range of new, improved or traditional missile delivery systems with nuclear and conventional warheads that put the United States in range.

According to the calculations of the intelligence community, in 2035 the number of threats to the United States will grow from today’s more than 3 thousand missiles in general to more than 16 thousand.
