{"id":537502,"date":"2026-03-21T22:39:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-21T22:39:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/537502\/"},"modified":"2026-03-21T22:39:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T22:39:08","slug":"wizards-trae-young-out-with-injuries-no-timetable-for-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/537502\/","title":{"rendered":"Wizards&#8217; Trae Young out with injuries; no timetable for return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mar 21, 2026, 05:03 PM ET<\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON &#8212; Wizards point guard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4277905\/trae-young\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trae Young<\/a> is dealing with a pair of injuries and is out indefinitely, the team announced before Saturday&#8217;s game against the Thunder.<\/p>\n<p>Young re-injured his right quadriceps, sustaining a contusion during the third quarter of Washington&#8217;s game against Golden State on Monday, the team said in a statement that also said he had lower back irritation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeah, he obviously got the contusion the other night, but he&#8217;s also been dealing with a little bit of back pain, so we obviously did a little bit of imaging,&#8221; coach Brian Keefe said before the game. &#8220;The back has been irritated.
