Jorginho claims that Chappell Roan’s security guard accused his 11-year-old daughter, Ada Law, of harassment for smiling at her at a S\u00e3o Paulo hotel, leaving the child “in tears”<\/p>\n

The soccer star says Ada \u2014 whom his wife, Catherine Harding, shares with her ex Jude Law \u2014 is a fan of Roan and was in Brazil to see her perform<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot,” Jorginho wrote of the alleged incident<\/p>\n

Jorginho is calling out Chappell Roan<\/a> for allegedly sending a security guard to accuse his young daughter of harassment, leaving the child \u2014 a fan of the pop star \u2014 \u201cin tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

The professional soccer player, 34, alleged in a lengthy Instagram Stories post<\/a> \u2014 which he shared in both Spanish and English on Saturday, March 21 \u2014 that the \u201cFemininomenon\u201d singer, 28, sent a security guard to accuse his 11-year-old daughter of disrespecting and harassing the musician as they dined at the same hotel in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today. My wife [Catherine Harding, who also goes by Cat Cavelli<\/a>] is in S\u00e3o Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited. She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire,\u201d Jorginho wrote of Roan, who is set to perform at the music festival in S\u00e3o Paulo on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The pro athlete did not name the child, but appeared to be referring to 11-year-old Ada Law<\/a>, whom Harding welcomed with her ex, actor Jude Law<\/a>. Harding posted a photo<\/a> of Ada smiling at a dining table at a S\u00e3o Paulo hotel, the Pal\u00e1cio Tangar\u00e1, less than 24 hours earlier.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy coincidence, they’re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,\u201d Jorginho wrote of the alleged interaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the worst part is she didn’t even approach her,\u201d he continued. \u201cShe simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

After his daughter walked by, Jorginho alleged in the post, \u201ca large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to \u2018disrespect\u2019 or \u2018harass\u2019 other people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,\u201d the soccer pro continued, alleging that the security guard\u00a0\u201ceven said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

A representative for Roan and the Pal\u00e1cio Tangar\u00e1 did not immediately respond to PEOPLE\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

Jorginho concluded his post by criticizing Roan\u2019s treatment of a fan whom he said was not violating Roan’s \u201cboundaries,\u201d and cited his own experience in the public eye.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone,\u201d he wrote of his daughter.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,\u201d the athlete continued. \u201cI sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then tagged Roan\u2019s Instagram account and wrote a message in all-caps: \u201cWITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harding also reposted her husband\u2019s statements about Roan \u2014 which included a picture of his daughter\u2019s fan-made sign for Roan\u2019s performance \u2014 on Instagram Stories. The sign included a nod to the pop star\u2019s popular song \u201cHOT TO GO!\u201d<\/p>\n

Roan has long been an outspoken advocate for boundaries between herself and fans<\/a>, as well as paparazzi. Earlier this month, she made headlines for calling out a group of photographers and admirers<\/a> who waited outside the restaurant where she was dining for “harassing” her.<\/p>\n
