\n\tPrincess Diana<\/a> and Winston Churchill were among a selection of dead Great Britons brought back to life with \u201cJurassic Park\u201d technology in an edgy \u201cSaturday Night Live U.K.\u201d sketch.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a skit titled \u201cDavid Attenborough\u2019s Last Supper\u201d in the inaugural episode of the live sketch show, the natural historian, played by George Fouracres, selects a handful of \u201chistory\u2019s greatest Britons\u201d using his brother Richard Attenborough\u2019s \u201cJurassic Park technology\u201d so he could ask them \u201cwhat really makes Britain great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the sketch, Fouracres introduces himself with: \u201cI\u2019m David Attenborough and it can\u2019t be long now\u201d \u2013 a nod to the fact that Attenborough is set to turn 100 years old in May.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cUsing DNA sampling and my own brother\u2019s \u2018Jurassic Park\u2019 technology I reanimated some of history\u2019s greatest Britons for one night only so I can ask them what really makes Britain great,\u201d Fouracres continues. \u201cThis is David Attenborough\u2019s Last Supper.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong those selected for reanimation is Princess Diana, played by Jack Shep fluttering his eyes behind a menu, joining a table including Winston Churchill, Isaac Newton, Mary Seacole, Benjamin Zephaniah, Freddy Mercury, Elizabeth I, Cilla Black and host Tina Fey as Agatha Christie. \u201cThanks so much for hosting this dinner party Sir David,\u201d Shep-as-Diana says in an upper-class accent.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, instead of answering Attenborough\u2019s question about what makes Britain great, the guests start arguing over appetizers. Princess Diana reassures Freddie Mercury that if a menu item \u201chas an asterisk next to its name then it comes with free rice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe BBC has spared no expense bringing you back to life,\u201d says Fouracres\u2019 Attenborough. \u201cI\u2019m sure they\u2019re happy to cover one dinner at The Ivy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tUltimately, he gives up on trying to get an answer out of his guests, saying: \u201cThis experiment has been a complete waste of time and money. The answer I was looking for as to what makes Britain truly great was the NHS and Centerparcs. There. You\u2019ve ruined it. Now we should move onto the lovemaking portion of the evening.
