Rahel Solomon, anchor of CNN\u2019s Early Start, announced on air that she will leave the network at the end of the week.<\/p>\n
During the Monday, March 23 broadcast, she told<\/a> viewers, \u201cNow, to some personal news, I have decided that this will be my last week at CNN,\u201d and added that more details about her next steps would follow. She confirmed that her final show is scheduled for Friday, March 27.<\/p>\n Solomon currently hosts the network\u2019s 5 a.m. E.T. program, which focuses on overnight breaking news and the stories expected to shape the day. The show launched about a year ago and is simulcast on CNN International. She also reported on business and economic topics, including inflation and the job market, in her role as a correspondent.<\/p>\n Reflecting on her time at the network, Solomon said, \u201cIt has been such an honor, truly, to serve as a business correspondent for CNN. I have covered everything from inflation to the job market and everything in between.\u201d She also thanked her colleagues, stating she was \u201cso proud to have worked alongside\u201d the Early Start team and the broader newsroom.<\/p>\n Solomon joined<\/a> CNN in 2022 after working at CNBC as a general news reporter.
