OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky was such a secretive recluse that he was dead from cancer for days<\/a> before the news ever became public Monday, a pal revealed to The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cInsiders knew [Radvinsky] had been dealing with health issues for some time, and while his passing is tragic, he left behind a company that was fully prepared and resilient,\u201d said Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., which works closely with adult content creators from the controversial site.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis passing wasn\u2019t sudden, so there was a lot of preparation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

According to Radvinsky\u2019s personal website, he also made philanthropic donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the University of Chicago and EB Research Partnership, a global organization dedicated to funding research to treat and cure the rare genetic disease epidermolysis bullosa.\u00a0The group of skin disorders cause extremely fragile skin that can see severe blistering and wounds from minor friction.<\/p>\n

Radvinsky, who was raised outside Chicago, acquired OnlyFans\u2019 parent company, Fenix International, in 2018 from British father-and-son duo Guy and Tim Stokely, who had founded the platform two years prior, according to the Financial Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the time, OnlyFans was little more than a niche site for adult content subscriptions.<\/p>\n

Property records show Radvinsky splurged on a next-level-ritzy Miami condo worth almost $19,000,000, according to an online estimate.\u00a0 Paul Martinka<\/p>\n

He transformed the porn industry by offering adult content creators a platform to reach their audience directly through subscriptions and keep 80% of their revenues.<\/p>\n

While working as the director and majority shareholder of the company, from 2021 through early 2025, Radvinsky paid himself a whopping $1.8 billion in dividends, according to Forbes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His shares in the company have reportedly been held in a trust.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He was previously trying to sell his stake in the company for $8 billion, according to reports \u2014 though he had trouble finding a bank to broker the deal.<\/p>\n

Fenix International was in talks last year over a potential acquisition by a group led by Forest Road, an LA-based investment bank and advisory firm, though the potential deals collapsed for unknown reasons.<\/p>\n

Despite Radvinsky\u2019s apparent bashfulness about owning OnlyFans, it wasn\u2019t his first foray into porn.<\/p>\n

Among his early ventures were websites that claimed to offer hacked passwords to porn sites.<\/p>\n

Later, he would register hundreds of domain names \u2014 many of them X-rated or referencing celebrities of the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

In 2004, he launched MyFreeCams, one of the early players in the live camming business, a precursor to OnlyFans.<\/p>\n

Under his ownership, OnlyFans became a global sensation \u2014 particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it added 300,000 users a day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
