\n\tDutton Ranch will stream on Paramount+ and air on the Paramount Network beginning May 15, at 8 p.m. with two episodes, and then weekly throughout the nine-episode first season. The series is created by executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan, based on the characters created by executive producers Sheridan and John Linson.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe explosive first teaser (below) makes it clear that the peaceful ending the couple earned<\/a> when settling into their new Dillon, Montana, ranch at the end of Yellowstone was short-lived. The one-minute footage is filled with violence and shows Beth and Rip once again fighting to defend the life they have built.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cA legacy is a beautiful thing,\u201d says Beth to a new character named Beulah Jackson, played by Annette Bening, \u201cbut only if it survives.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWhen the indomitable Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler return, this time they are taking on Texas. The logline reads: \u201cAs Beth and Rip fight to build a future together \u2014 far from the ghosts of Yellowstone \u2014 they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlong with Reilly and Hauser, Finn Little returns as their son, Carter. The cast is rounded out by Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ed Harris and Bening.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tDutton Ranch will be the second Yellowstone spinoff to release following Marshals<\/a>, which follows Beth\u2019s brother Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes<\/a>) and is currently airing weekly<\/a> Sunday nights on CBS, and has already been renewed<\/a> for a second season. Reilly said<\/a>, \u201cI trust him with wherever he takes her; whether we\u2019re leaving her where we\u2019ve left her, or we\u2019re going to find her somewhere else, I trust him.\u201d After the finale, executive producer and director Christina Alexandra Voros explained how Sheridan left the door \u201cwide open\u201d<\/a> to continue on with Beth and Rip.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tHauser also recently spoke to THR <\/a>about Beth and Rip leading their own series, without their Yellowstone co-stars: \u201cKelly and I are focused on [Rip and Beth\u2019s] relationship and our love together, and what we\u2019re going to get [them] into.\u201d Both Hudnut and Voros, the latter who also directed<\/a> the recently released The Madison<\/a>, both told THR they would love to see a Beth and Rip crossover with Kayce, if the production stars align on Dutton Ranch and Marshals. \u201cThere\u2019s so much potential in having all of these spinoffs in the universe, you would love to see what could come of that,\u201d said Voros.<\/p>\n \n\tDutton Ranch is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. Dutton Ranch is also executive produced by Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Voros, Michael Friedman, Hauser, Reilly and Keith Cox.
