After Monday\u2019s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful (recapped here<\/a>), Ivy is thinking that she has Dylan in checkmate. But oh no, she\u2019s at best in check. Why\u2019s that? The way out for Dylan is as clear as a freshly washed window!<\/p>\n

Ivy\u2019s Threat Is Completely Empty<\/p>\n

Electra\u2019s manipulative aunt has sworn that she\u2019ll get Dylan fired from her new job at Forrester Creations if she breathes so much of a word of the conversation she overheard Ivy and Daphne having. And we don\u2019t doubt that she\u2019d try. But here\u2019s the thing: Dylan doesn\u2019t have to run to either Will or Electra with the truth about Ivy\u2019s machinations to set things right.<\/p>\n

All Dylan has to do is go to Daphne and explain her predicament. Dylan may not be able to risk losing her job to undo the damage that Ivy has done, but Daphne has no [bleeps] to give. As it is, it\u2019s been utterly mystifying why she hasn\u2019t already blown Ivy out of the water. (More on that here.<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Once Daphne is made aware that Ivy is tangling even more innocents in her web of deceit, she\u2019ll have no choice but to do the honorable thing and rat out the Aussie. Daphne doesn\u2019t have to say that Dylan urged her to come forward, she could just insist that she\u2019s spilling the beans because (duh) it\u2019s the right thing to do.<\/p>\n

If Daphne wants to be funny about it, she could even suggest that being honest is the only \u201cproper\u201d option<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Armed with this new intel \u2014 and never having been an Ivy fan in the first place \u2014 co-CEO Steffy will be only too happy to can her cousin (thereby facilitating Ashleigh Brewer\u2019s maternity leave<\/a>). Then Will and Electra can decide without subterfuge where they stand, and maybe, just maybe, Dylan and R.J. can explore the chemistry that they shared when they first (literally) bumped into each other.<\/p>\n
