The US has sent Iran a 15-point plan and cease-fire proposal to end the war in the Middle East \u2014 and President Trump claims the regime has already agreed to a critical part of the peace framework: No nuclear weapons.\u00a0<\/p>\n

AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner are reportedly seeking Tehran\u00a0to agree to a monthlong cease-fire<\/a>, during which the 15 points of the plan would be negotiated, according to Israel\u2019s Channel 12.\u00a0<\/p>\n The peace plan is believed to be based on the 15-point framework presented to the Iranian government last year, before Israel launched its 12-day war against the regime and the US bombed Iranian nuclear facilities in Operation Midnight Hammer, according to\u00a0multiple<\/a>\u00a0outlets<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Israel is not involved in the negotiations but was given a heads up by the Trump administration before discussions to end hostilities with Iran began on Sunday, an Israeli official told Channel 12.\u00a0<\/p>\n The outlet\u2019s report contains 14 of the 15 demands the Trump administration has conveyed to Iran.\u00a0<\/p>\n Iran must dismantle existing nuclear capabilities<\/p>\n Iran must commit never to pursue nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n No uranium enrichment on Iranian territory.<\/p>\n Iran must hand its stockpile of enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).\u00a0<\/p>\n The Natanz, Isfahan and Fordo nuclear facilities must be dismantled.<\/p>\n The IAEA must be granted full access to Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n Iran must abandon its \u201cregional proxy paradigm.\u201d<\/p>\n Iran must cease the funding, directing and arming its proxies.<\/p>\n The Strait of Hormuz must remain open.\u00a0<\/p>\n Iran\u2019s missile program must be limited in both range and quantity.<\/p>\n Iran must limit its use of missiles to self-defense.<\/p>\n In return, Iran would benefit from:\u00a0<\/p>\n The end of sanctions imposed by the international community.<\/p>\n US assistance to advance its civilian nuclear program.\u00a0<\/p>\n A \u201csnapback\u201d mechanism allowing for the automatic reimposition of sanctions if Iran fails to comply would be removed.<\/p>\n The White House did not immediately respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Iranian regime has reportedly made outlandish demands in response to the US proposal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Tehran is demanding the closure of all US military bases in the Gulf region and reparations for attacks on the country, the\u00a0Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday night.<\/a><\/p>\n Damage from US and Israeli strikes seen in the Enderzgu district of Tehran on March 23, 2026.
