In <a href=\"http:\/\/superherohype.com\/tag\/star-wars-episode-i-the-phantom-menace\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Phantom Menace<\/a>, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) are battling Darth Maul, when Qui-Gon is killed. Neeson joked that a Master Jedi wouldn\u2019t have fallen for what happened to him. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought my death was a bit namby-pamby,\u201d said Neeson. \u201cI\u2019m supposed to be a Master Jedi. My character fell for that, \u2018Oh I\u2019m going for your face. No, I\u2019m not, I\u2019m going for your stomach! Oh, you got me!\u2019 It\u2019s like, oh please, hardly a Master Jedi. But still, it was great.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>After appearing in The Phantom Menace, Neeson would go on to reprise his role as Qui-Gon Jinn in a physical capacity in 2022\u2019s Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, where he appeared in a cameo in the show\u2019s series finale.
