There have been 496 cases of dengue reported in the U.S. so far this year, according to the most recent, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/dengue\/data-research\/facts-stats\/current-data.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:data.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">data.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>About 25% of those who are bitten by an infected mosquito will get sick \u2014 and cases can range from mild to severe.
