While detailed documents have been published, the planning application has not been filed. The feasibility study is seeking review and feedback from city staff.<\/p>\n<p>The project, as described, looks to replace the retail space at 2335 Market Street with an entrance hallway, connecting residents to the rear addition. Once complete, the roughly 84-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 25,700 square feet, including 18,450 square feet of housing. The plans call for 24 new apartments, with 22 one-bedrooms and two two-bedroom units. The city-published drawings provide insight into potential massing, showing a boxy apartment complex set back from the street.<\/p>\n<p>Public records show the property last sold in 2020 for $5.8 million. The 0.32-acre site is located along Market Street between Castro Street and Noe Street.
