\n\tDonald Trump<\/a>\u2018s effort today to praise his new Homeland Security Secretary and defend him from Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>\u2018s jabs kind of backfired.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI never heard low-level MMA,\u201d the former Apprentice host said of the former Senator from Oklahoma\u00a0on Thursday on Fox News\u2019 The Five<\/a>. On Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 25, the host had taken a few swipes at newly confirmed DHS chief Markwayne Mullin for his fighting past and ownership of a plumbing company. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe had a very good record in fighting but, you know, that\u2019s unimportant,\u201d said the President on Mullin. \u201cBut he is sort of a fighter. But more than you know. I call him country smart\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSounding a lot like calling some one dumb but dressing it up, the phrase \u201ccountry smart\u201d got a lot of laughs among The Five hosts after their chat with Trump via phone concluded. Whether or not Mullin is country smart, country strong or just fits Trump\u2019s casting instincts, POTUS couldn\u2019t contain himself when it came to his old foil Kimmel.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve watched this guy,\u201d Trump proclaimed of the ABC<\/a> late-nighter. \u201cYeah, he\u2019s a loser.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWarning up to his usual themes when it comes to Kimmel, who was pulled off the air by Disney brass<\/a> <\/a> late last year <\/a>for a week after a dust-up with Nexstar and Sinclair-owned ABC affiliates over comments the host made about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Trump went full throttle with some encouragement from the FNC gang<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe gets no ratings, none,\u201d Trump claimed of the acclaimed comedian who is one of his constant critics. \u201cHe\u2019s got no talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNear the tail end of a wide ranging and factually challenging time on The Five that was more monologue\u00a0 that interview, Trump went on, \u201cHe\u2019s got Trump Derangement syndrome. I mean, I whatever I watch. I just can\u2019t believe that he\u2019s even on the air. He shouldn\u2019t be on the air. You know, in the old days when you didn\u2019t have good ratings, or you didn\u2019t have any ratings, practically, you get fired. He should be canned.\u201d<\/p>\n
