We’re starting to approach that time of the year when Motorola’s next foldables debut, and this rumor’s getting candid about its looks.<\/p>\n

Tipster OnLeaks came forward with XpertPick<\/a> to highlight some alleged renderings for Motorola’s Razr 70 Ultra, a.k.a the Razr Ultra 2026. The images give us a decent look at what the next foldable could offer in terms of its design. The cover display, which is said to measure 4 inches, still doesn’t take down its bezels, as they produce a generous border around the screen. A horizontal dual camera array is purported, with an LED flash nestled beside it.<\/p>\n

The 7-inch inner display looks largely the same as what we’ve seen previously. Judging by the allegations, the bezels for this inner display remain pronounced, meaning Motorola might not be interested in thinning it for 2026. OnLeaks’ rumors showcase the phone in a brushed silver (kind of) colorway. The brushed markings are primarily visible on the rear panel.<\/p>\n

Android Central’s Take<\/p>\n

I wonder what a design change for the Razr Ultra\u2014or for the Razrs in general\u2014would look like. It’s a solid phone as it stands. One thing that I’d love to see is a slightly wider display, both for its internal and external screens. To me, it just feels like the bezels are quite large. I know that’s probably hard to slim down, since we have the hinge mechanism and that might cause a little more work. But for its cover display, I’d love to see a sleek edgeless screen.<\/p>\n

Perhaps we’re not to expect a huge design change for the Razr Ultra 2026, as these images suggest a phone that looks identical to the Razr Ultra 2025<\/a>. However, OnLeaks claims there might be changes elsewhere. Supposedly, the upcoming version is slightly thicker than its soon-to-be predecessor. The difference is 0.6mm when unfolded.<\/p>\n

This claim has led the publication to speculate that Motorola could be working on a battery upgrade or maybe a camera enhancement. OnLeaks didn’t share any specifics on its specifications, so we’re left to our imagination for now.<\/p>\n

There’s some curiosity surrounding the Razr Ultra this year. Last year, Motorola’s foldable marked a significant strategy shift<\/a>, as it introduced three phones. The trio consisted of the Razr, Razr Plus, and the Razr Ultra. The series introduced a titanium hinge, which Motorola said was “four times stronger” and could withstand more folds than before. If you remember the 2023 Razr Plus and its flimsiness, then it was apparent that the 2024 model had improved considerably.<\/p>\n

I text my colleague Derrek Lee anytime I have a Moto Razr question\u2014he likes the phones. I’m also around the phone quite often, since I know someone with one, too. These phones are cool and can truly challenge what Samsung’s Flip is doing. So, I always keep my eyes on those two to see what’s new, what’s worth it. Right now, these rumors don’t add or take away anything. Yeah, it seems like the design is similar\u2014whatever. What’s inside? That’s the truest test.<\/p>\n

Also, if we’re to consider the battery upgrade route for the Razr Ultra 2026, that could be quite a worthy add-on. Last year’s model offers a 4,700mAh capacity with 68W charging. Android Central’s Derrek Lee was already pretty content with this, but a boost of 200mAh or 300mAh would be just as good. The 2025 foldables debuted in May. Maybe we’re looking at a similar timeframe again this year.<\/p>\n
