Today, the singer shared a brand new Hannah Montana song, \u201cYounger You.\u201d She previewed the new track earlier this week in her <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/miley-cyrus-announces-hannah-montana-20th-anniversary-special\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special<\/a>, which aired on Disney+ on March 24. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n<p>The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary special was filmed in front of a live audience, and compiled live performance footage, an in-depth interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, and cameos from <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/chappell-roan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chappell Roan<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/34444-selena-gomez\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Selena Gomez<\/a>, and Cyrus\u2019 parents, Tish and <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/billy-ray-cyrus\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a>. \u201cYounger You\u201d arrives alongside a music video that features clips from the special interspersed with scenes from the Hannah Montana Movie.<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus announced the new song yesterday on Instagram. \u201cThis anniversary special is a gift from me to younger you, my way of saying thank you for your loyalty and for growing with me every step of the way,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThis song says it all\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hannah Montana premiered in 2006 on Disney Channel, and starred a then-unknown Cyrus as Miley Stewart, a brunette Los Angeles teenager with a pretty major secret: her double life as the dazzling blonde pop star Hannah Montana. The series ended in 2011 after four seasons and spawned five soundtrack albums during its run, four of which topped the Billboard 200.
