Green was in his late 30s at the time, and had already served time in both wars. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-222add\" class=\"body-graf\">This wasn&#8217;t Green&#8217;s first time on the mound. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Orioles\/posts\/pfbid0jQH4ruf6oeVd1R3259cU67UWZdMgd6KRVmwqHNsY6NmhNWqCkXfhnhgD4z45BxSPl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">threw a pitch in August 2023<\/a>, when he was 106.
