CHICAGO (AP) \u2014 A sex toy was tossed onto the court during a WNBA game for the second time this week.<\/p>\n
Video showed the sex toy out of bounds under a basket after a whistle was blown to stop play during the third quarter of the Golden State Valkyries\u2019 73-66 victory<\/a> over the Chicago Sky. An official then kicked it aside before it was picked up and removed.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s super disrespectful,\u201d Sky center Elizabeth Williams said in the postgame press conference. \u201cI don\u2019t really get the point of it. It\u2019s really immature. Whoever is doing it needs to grow up.\u201d<\/p>\n A similar incident occurred Tuesday during the Valkyries\u2019 77-75 victory<\/a> over the Atlanta Dream in College Park, Georgia.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, first of all, it was super dangerous,\u201d Valkyries forward Cecilia Zandalasini said after Tuesday\u2019s game. \u201cAnd then when we found out what it was, I guess we just started laughing. I\u2019ve never seen anything like that. I\u2019m just glad we worked through that situation. We stayed locked in, we stayed concentrated.\u201d<\/p>\n New York Liberty forward Isabelle Harrison commented on social media about the situation Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cARENA SECURITY?!
