{"id":549365,"date":"2026-03-27T23:30:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T23:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/549365\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T23:30:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T23:30:08","slug":"dan-campbell-relationship-with-brad-holmes-is-golden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/549365\/","title":{"rendered":"Dan Campbell: Relationship with Brad Holmes is golden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lions General Manager Brad Holmes shrugged off talk of a rift with head coach Dan Campbell about the team\u2019s direction by saying the two men are in \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/brad-holmes-says-he-and-dan-campbell-are-in-total-lockstep-on-offseason-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">total lockstep<\/a>\u201d and Campbell sent a similar message on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The Lions are trying to rebound from missing the playoffs and that has led to a lot of changes to the roster, but Campbell said that his relationship with Holmes is in as good a place as it has been since the two began working together in Detroit in 2021. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrad and myself <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.freep.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/lions\/2026\/03\/27\/lions-dan-campbell-brad-holmes-fued\/89351129007\/?gnt-cfr=1&amp;gca-cat=p&amp;gca-uir=true&amp;gca-epti=z118701p119750c119750e1113xxv118701d--80--b--80--&amp;gca-ft=182&amp;gca-ds=sophi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">do everything together<\/a>,\u201d Campbell said at a Crain\u2019s Detroit Business event, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. \u201cAnd despite what\u2019s been out there, that\u2019s a bunch of \u2014 listen, we\u2019re golden, man.
