Over the course of a career, they build institutions, mentor the next generation, advance care delivery and leave the region\u2019s health system fundamentally stronger than they found it.<\/p>\n<p>The Lifetime Achievement category in Business Report\u2018s inaugural <a href=\"https:\/\/businessreport.com\/healthcareawards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Excellence in Health Care Awards<\/a> is for those people. This recognition honors a distinguished career defined by decades of leadership, service and transformative impact on health care in the Capital Region\u2014the kind of career whose influence extends far beyond any single role or organization. In a region where health care is central to quality of life and economic strength, those legacies are worth celebrating.<\/p>\n<p>The Excellence in Health Care Awards will honor leaders across seven categories: Outstanding Health Care Executive, Emerging Health Care Leader, Outstanding Practitioner, Outstanding Health Organization, Achievement in Innovation, Lifetime Achievement and Community Impact.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are open to individuals and organizations making a measurable impact within the Capital Region\u2019s health care ecosystem, including hospitals and clinics, private practices, research institutions, public health agencies and community-based initiatives.
