Backlund, the Flames\u2019 captain, entered a backroom where Ovechkin was waiting for him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>After the swap was complete, the Swedish forward did some pseudo-journalism, attempting to find out whether Ovechkin was returning for a 22nd season at age 41.<\/p>\n<p>Mikael Backlund: Good luck the rest of the way. You going to come back for another one, or\u2026?<\/p>\n<p>Alex Ovechkin: We\u2019ll see.<\/p>\n<p>Mikael Backlund: You said maybe. Well, it was a pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Ovechkin: Alright, see you.<\/p>\n<p>Backlund is the latest player to swap jerseys with Ovechkin, who has accumulated quite a memorabilia haul this season.
