Mahavatar Narsimha continues to surprise at the box office, proving yet again that the film industry is full of unpredictability.<\/p>\n

Despite minimal promotions and being an animated film \u2014 a rare success genre in Indian cinema \u2014 it has outperformed several big-banner releases in its second week.<\/p>\n

According to Sacnilk, on its second Saturday, Mahavatar Narsimha collected an impressive \u20b915 crore, a remarkable jump from its first Saturday collection of \u20b94.60 crore.<\/p>\n

In just nine days, the film has grossed a strong \u20b967.95 crore, and with its current momentum, it is on track to cross the coveted \u20b9100 crore mark soon.<\/p>\n

What makes this feat exceptional is the film\u2019s dominance over other recent releases.<\/p>\n

Ajay Devgn\u2019s much-anticipated sequel Son of Sardaar 2, which opened to negative reviews and a lukewarm response, earned \u20b97.25 crore on Friday and \u20b97.50 crore on Saturday \u2014 barely half of what Mahavatar Narsimha earned on the same day.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dhadak 2 continues to struggle at the box office, bringing in just \u20b93.75 crore on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Even the romantic hit Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, saw a dip, earning \u20b96.35 crore on its third Saturday \u2014 again trailing behind the animated spiritual epic.<\/p>\n

Kingdom earned around 8.00 Cr India net on its third day for all languages.<\/p>\n

Mahavatar Narsimha is the first installment in the ambitious Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, developed by Hombale Films and Kleem Productions.<\/p>\n

The franchise plans to chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu over the next decade.<\/p>\n

Future releases in the lineup include Mahavatar Parshuram in 2027, Mahavatar Raghunandan in 2029, Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh in 2031, Mahavatar Gokulananda in 2033, Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 in 2035, and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.<\/p>\n
