There is currently a lot of uncertainty surrounding Sophie Cunningham<\/a>\u2019s future with the Indiana Fever<\/a>. The 6-foot-1 guard\u2019s contract with the Fever has ended, and she is now an unrestricted free agent ahead of her eighth season in the WNBA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cunningham joined Indiana in the offseason via a multi-team trade deal from the Phoenix Mercury. She made an immediate impact for the Fever in Year 1, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.7 triples in 25.2 minutes per contest.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Cunningham\u2019s debut campaign in Indiana was cut short by a season-ending knee injury<\/a>. She played 30 games before tearing the MCL in her right knee.<\/p>\n

One of Cunningham\u2019s closest friends on the squad is Lexie Hull. In fact, Cunningham previously revealed that she considers Hull to be her \u201cbestie\u201d on the team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two decided to reunite amid the WNBA offseason. On Sunday, Cunningham announced that Hull is the next guest on her show, \u201cLive from the Bracket.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be so fun!\u201d Cunningham declared after they introduced Hull as their special guest.<\/p>\n

\u201cLive from the Bracket\u201d is a limited podcast series hosted by Cunningham and her long-time friend, West Wilson. It is a special edition of their \u201cShow Me Something\u201d podcast, aligning with the buzz of March Madness.<\/p>\n

According to the post, the new episode will drop on Monday, and both Cunningham and Hull were clearly excited in the announcement video.<\/p>\n

Much like Cunningham, there\u2019s also no guarantee that Hull will be back on the Fever roster next season. She, too, is an unrestricted free agent along with all but three players from last season.<\/p>\n

Right now, only Caitlin Clark<\/a>, Aliyah Boston<\/a> and Makayla Timpson are guaranteed to return<\/a> in 2026. The Fever\u2019s front office has its work cut out for it once the free agency window officially opens in April.<\/p>\n
