\n President Donald Trump said Sunday that Iran has agreed to \u201cmost of\u201d the 15-point list of demands<\/a> that the US conveyed, via Pakistan, to end the war.\n <\/p>\n \n Asked whether Iran responded to those points, the president told reporters aboard Air Force One, \u201cThey gave us most of the points. Why wouldn\u2019t they?\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cThey\u2019re agreeing with us on the plan. We asked for 15 things, and for the most part, we\u2019re going to be asking for a couple of other things,\u201d Trump continued.\n <\/p>\n \n Tehran did not immediately accept the 15-point plan last week. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has previously acknowledged that messages have been exchanged through intermediaries but signaled skepticism of Washington\u2019s position.\n <\/p>\n \n Trump also said Iran has given the US oil that will be shipped tomorrow to \u201cprove they\u2019re serious.\u201d Trump said when he talked last week about Iran giving the US a \u201cpresent,\u201d it was \u201c10 massive boatloads of oil.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cAnd today they gave us another present. They gave us 20 boatloads of oil that starts being shipped tomorrow,\u201d he said. \n Trump also claimed there has been \u201cregime change\u201d in Iran during the course of the war.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cWe\u2019ve had regime change, if you look already, because the one regime was decimated, destroyed, they\u2019re all dead,\u201d the president told reporters.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cThe next regime is mostly dead, and the third regime, we\u2019re dealing with different people than anybody\u2019s dealt with before. It\u2019s a whole different group of people. So I would consider that regime change, and frankly, they\u2019ve been very reasonable,\u201d he continued.\n <\/p>\n \n For context: As CNN has previously reported, the 15-point plan is believed to include: Iran committing to no nuclear weapons, handing over its highly enriched uranium, limits on Tehran\u2019s defense capabilities, an end to regional proxy groups and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.\n <\/p>\n \n Trump previously told CNN\u2019s Kaitlan Collins that Iran had committed to not having a nuclear weapon, something Tehran has said publicly in the past.\n <\/p>\n \n Mojtaba Khamenei<\/a>, the son of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was elevated to the position his father held after the elder Khamenei\u2019s death in US-Israeli air strikes.
