Jannik Sinner is one win away from becoming the first male tennis player since Roger Federer in 2017 to win the \u201cSunshine Double.\u201d<\/p>\n

After earning his first Indian Wells crown, Sinner looks to win the 2026 Miami Open final on March 29. To achieve this historic feat, Sinner must take down Jiri Lehecka, who\u2019s competing for his first-ever ATP Masters 1000 trophy.<\/p>\n

After defeating Alexander Zverev 6-3,7-6 (4) in the semifinals, Sinner, the No. 2-ranked player in the world, is highly favored to be victorious on Sunday. Sinner is 3-0 against Lehecka and has never dropped a set against the Czech player.<\/p>\n

\u201cComing here and trying to produce some good tennis was my main goal, and standing here again in the final means very much to me,\u201d Sinner said in his on-court interview. \u201cIt has been an incredible swing, and I couldn\u2019t be better. I\u2019m very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the Italian star makes history, extending his record for most sets won (32) in a row in the history of Masters 1000 events, his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic<\/a>, is cheering from afar.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old started dating Hasanovic, a finalist in the 2019 Miss Universe Denmark pageant, last year.<\/p>\n

Neither Hasanovic nor Sinner has posted photos of each other on their social media pages, so it\u2019s unlikely she\u2019ll post a public message of support.<\/p>\n

Sinner likes to keep his romantic life private. Hasanovic, who previously dated former F1 driver Mick Schumacher, respects his wishes.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old tennis star told Vanity Fair Italia in February 2024, \u201cI like talking about tennis, and sports in general. But if you\u2019re referring to my private life, it\u2019s true, I want to keep it that way. I want to protect the people closest to me, keeping them out of all this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of attention,\u201d said Sinner during a press conference<\/a> during the Italian Open in May 2025. \u201cAlso, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I\u2019m not in a relationship!\u201d<\/p>\n

Overall, Sinner likes to keep his private out of the spotlight. During his previous relationship with tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya,\u00a0 \u201cWe keep everything very confidential,\u201d he said, per Tennis.com<\/a>. \u201cI won\u2019t say more.\u201d<\/p>\n
