UConn freshman guard Braylon Mullins had his high school sweetheart, Kylee Beranek, cheering him on as he became the hero of the Huskies\u2019 March Madness run<\/a> Sunday.<\/p>\n

The couple celebrated together in a hotel room after Mullins sank a long 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left<\/a> to give UConn a 73-72 victory over top-seeded Duke<\/a> \u2014 securing a spot in the Final Four after rallying back from a 19-point first-half deficit at Captial One Arena in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

Beranek shared a TikTok video of her dancing and hugging Mullins to the song, \u201cGoin\u2019 Back To Indiana,\u201d by The Jackson 5.<\/p>\n

Beranek sported a pair of jeans with Mullins\u2019 name down the leg and a UConn t-shirt that said, \u201cWe\u2019re Not Done.\u201d <\/p>\n

At one point, Mullins grabbed his Final Four hat from Beranek as she flashed her shirt to the camera. <\/p>\n

\u201cHOMECOMING BABY!!\u201d Beranek wrote, referring to UConn\u2019s matchup with third-seeded Illinois in the semifinal, taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on April 4.<\/p>\n

Mullins and Beranek reportedly began dating while attending rival high schools, just 11 miles apart in Indiana.<\/p>\n

He played basketball at Greenfield-Central High School and she played soccer and basketball at New Palestine High School. <\/p>\n

\u201cBack to Indiana!!\u201d Beranek wrote in an Instagram Story post, including a photo of the couple hugging on the court after the Huskies advanced. <\/p>\n
