John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy\u2019s \u201cLove Story\u201d isn\u2019t the only thing that\u2019s having a 90\u2019s resurgence. Girl group musical chairs is taking over and they are not playing games. <\/p>\n
En Vogue is\u00a0gearing up to tour with Salt-n-Pepa and TLC for their \u201cIt\u2019s Iconic\u201d tour, and it\u2019s kicking up old and new dirt.<\/p>\n
Original En Vogue members Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Maxine Jones, who recently rejoined the group, performed in November at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, leaving out longtime member Rhona Bennett, who subsequently departed the group.<\/p>\n

Adding insult to injury, we hear the group didn\u2019t reach out to Bennett before or after the high-profile diss.<\/p>\n
Despite being a part of the group for over two decades, a source familiar with the situation described the ladies\u2019 relationship with Bennett as more business than a sisterhood. \u201cThey were amicable, but it was really they\u2019d show up to work, and then go home, or to their respective places,\u201d the source said. <\/p>\n
In later years, they communicated through counsel, we\u2019re told.<\/p>\n

Former original En Vogue member, Dawn Robinson, has now stepped into the fray, coming to Bennett\u2019s defense, saying she can relate to being snubbed by the group.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are bullies and they say who can and cannot stay,\u201d Robinson said in a video she posted to her YouTube channel on Monday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey discard people like handwipes\u2026. En Vogue can\u2019t keep a member to save their lives,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Bennet has also been defending herself.<\/p>\n

Current members recently sat down with People magazine, with Ellis claiming that it was Bennet\u2019s choice to step away, saying, \u201cShe could be here. She chose not to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ellis also claimed they learned of her leaving the group from social media. \u201cNext thing we know, we hear on social media that she left, she\u2019s gone,\u201d Ellis said.<\/p>\n
Bennett took to her keyboard to address \u201cinaccuracies\u201d about how she left the group, suggesting their lawyers walked away from contract negotiations. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis statement is misleading and does not represent what actually occurred,\u201d she said on social media. \u201cMy lawyer received a formal notice from their lawyer that the contract they were offering had been withdrawn on November 11th.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bennet also said she was not informed of the RHOF performance in advance. \u201cThe suggestion that I declined participation due to a prior engagement is not accurate,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy departure was not the result of a disagreement over a specific performance,\u201d Bennett further explained. \u201cFor several months, our legal teams were engaged in contract negotiations. Ultimately, the terms presented were not aligned with my values or a level of mutual respect in the relationship,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Robinson also called out Jones for returning to the group this past November.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe obviously loves abuse,\u201d Robinson said in her video.<\/p>\n
Robinson then recalled when the group sued Jones for unauthorized use of the name En Vogue in 2012, saying, \u201cI remember years ago when Maxine was sued by Cindy and Terry. She said she would never work with those skanks again. Those were her words, so now it\u2019s funny to see how she has come back yet again, to work with those skanks,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Our insider told us they\u2019d want nothing more than for the ladies to come together and have a public healing moment, but something tells us they\u2019re never gonna get it. <\/p>\n
In Robinson\u2019s case, \u201cI would never go back to this,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Her message to Bennett was to not let the group\u2019s \u201cnasty, treacherous, unspeakable behavior take away the love and trust you have for people.\u201d<\/p>\n
