Is a turn on The Great British Baking Show in Serena Williams<\/a>\u2019 future? The tennis star and mom of two recently shared a quick clip on Instagram<\/a> (and a much longer, more detailed video on TikTok<\/a>) showcasing her cake-making skills.<\/p>\n

In her Instagram post, Williams shares, \u201cSo I whipped up a chocolate ganache Matilda cake for my girls.\u201d If you\u2019re not entirely sure what a Matilda cake is, it\u2019s a deliciously decadent dessert featuring moist chocolate cake and either glossy ganache or fabulously fudgy frosting. And of course, it\u2019s named after the 1996 movie Matilda.<\/p>\n

Along with the caption, Williams\u2019 shorter post includes an absolutely adorable video of the mom and her youngest daughter, two-year-old Adira River Ohanian (with hubby, Reddit co-founder and entrepreneur, Alexis Ohanian<\/a>) in a totally relatable parenting moment.<\/p>\n

As the mom slices the cake, she says, \u201cDon\u2019t put those fingers on it.\u201d And of course, what does the little girl do? Like just about all toddlers, she immediately reaches for the cake and presses her hand into the chocolate. And no one can fault the two-year-old for wanting to swipe some of the sweetness ASAP.<\/p>\n

Like any other parent, Williams responds to the mini mischief maker with a, \u201cWhat did I just\u2026\u201d While the video doesn\u2019t include the rest of her purely hypothetical question<\/a>, we\u2019re pretty sure she was going for the mom standard: \u201cWhat did I just tell you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans giggled their way through the comments section, with one writing, \u201cLooks so yummy, I wouldn’t be able to resist either,\u201d and another saying, \u201cKids will do what kids do!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the longer TikTok, Serena reveals her full cake-making process. She measures and sifts flour, stirs in sugar, and blends the tasty treat, all with her older kiddo, eight-year-old Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. (Olympia), playing video games with a friend in the background. The champion tennis phenom then, like most of us regular moms, says, \u201cAlexa set a timer for 30 minutes.\u201d And when she returns\u2026the cake is very much not done.<\/p>\n

After waiting another eight minutes, she takes her cakes<\/a> out of the oven and frosts them with ooey, gooey chocolate ganache. While the dessert looks delicious, it certainly isn\u2019t perfect. Williams carries the finished product away, saying, \u201cI feel like the Matilda cake is supposed to be a little bit messy.\u201d Messy or not, it’s still amazingly irresistible.<\/p>\n

After giving her tot a quick taste, Williams tries a spoonful of her crave-worthy creation. So, how did it turn out? According to the tennis professional\/amateur baker, \u201cI\u2019m not a fan of chocolate, but this is really delicious\u2026It\u2019s not pretty, but it\u2019s pretty good!\u201d That, like Williams goes on to say, is what we call a mom joke<\/a>.<\/p>\n
