The final international break of the 2025\/26 campaign has come to a close, with the Manchester United contingent having mixed success during the round of fixtures.<\/p>\n

With just over two months until the World Cup<\/a> commences, Manchester United<\/a> have had several players staking their claims for a place at the tournament.<\/p>\n

Now that the break has concluded, United players will head to Ireland for a training camp<\/a>, with no game this weekend. The camp is with the aim of minimising rustiness Monday week against Leeds.<\/p>\n

Here are the ratings for each senior player who played for his nation over the break.<\/p>\n

He only played one game, but Senne Lammens was excellent for Belgium<\/a> in a 5-2 win over USA, staking his claim to be considered as a direct rival to injured Thibaut Courtois this summer.<\/p>\n

The United goalkeeper\u2019s stock is only continuing to rise; despite conceding twice, he cannot be blamed for either, as his defenders were at fault.<\/p>\n

Altay Bayindir \u2013 6\/10<\/p>\n

Altay Bayindir isn\u2019t Turkey\u2019s starting goalkeeper, and he remained on the bench for both the win over Romania and the win over Kosovo. But it was still a good break for him as Turkey qualified for the World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harry Maguire \u2013 8\/10<\/p>\n

Despite Thomas Tuchel criticism<\/a> after the opening game against Uruguay, Harry Maguire\u2019s return to England action saw him make a strong case for summer inclusion.<\/p>\n

Maguire was good against Japan<\/a>, and as the experienced defender, surely Tuchel will take him to the USA.<\/p>\n

Ayden Heaven \u2013 9\/10<\/p>\n

It was a valuable break for Ayden Heaven<\/a>, as he stepped up to train with the English first team. Then, following this, Heaven scored for England under-20<\/a> in a 3-3 draw with Italy.<\/p>\n

Leny Yoro \u2013 8\/10<\/p>\n

Back in the under-21 squad for France, Leny Yoro wore the captain\u2019s armband<\/a> in a win which all but ensured that his side are heading to the 2027 European Championships.<\/p>\n

Diogo Dalot \u2013 6\/10<\/p>\n

It was a decent break for Diogo Dalot, playing 45 minutes in both games. Like his club career, little to complain about, but he also didn\u2019t stand out for any good reasons.<\/p>\n

Kobbie Mainoo \u2013 7\/10<\/p>\n

Kobbie Mainoo returned to the England squad in March for the first time in 18 months, and he has faced a big task to get himself into Tuchel\u2019s squad for the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Mainoo impressed for England<\/a>, dictating play and proving that he is a player who would benefit the team. Should be in the squad as the third-choice midfielder.<\/p>\n

Casemiro \u2013 7\/10\"CasemiroPhoto by Richard Callis\/Sports Press Photo\/Getty Images<\/p>\n

Casemiro is the Brazil captain, and his team look well positioned to challenge for this summer\u2019s crown.<\/p>\n

Against Croatia, Casemiro played well for Brazil<\/a>, and his tournament this summer will likely be his last for the national team. He\u2019ll want to end the Selecao\u2019s years of hurt.<\/p>\n

Manuel Ugarte \u2013 8\/10 Do you think the four-day training camp in the Republic of Ireland is a good idea? <\/p>\n

What should be the focus for the coaching staff?<\/p>\n

Manuel Ugarte is a different player for his nation, and he was one of the biggest winners from this international break.<\/p>\n

Ugarte was praised by Tuchel<\/a> after Uruguay\u2019s 1-1 vs England, and he performed really well against Algeria, nailing down his spot in the squad despite a lack of minutes for the club.<\/p>\n

Tyler Fletcher \u2013 6\/10<\/p>\n

It was a break to forget for Tyler Fletcher as he got just 46 minutes across two games, with Scotland\u2019s under-21 side not winning either.<\/p>\n

Fletcher\u2019s minutes came in the 3-0 thrashing by Portugal, with Scotland\u2019s 2027 Euro hopes on the ropes.<\/p>\n

It should come as no shock that Bruno Fernandes<\/a> has shone again for Portugal, as he is their main hope of World Cup glory.<\/p>\n

After creating five chances against Mexico, which his teammates failed to convert, Fernandes got two assists against the USA<\/a> in a 2-0 win.<\/p>\n

Matheus Cunha \u2013 7\/10<\/p>\n

Matheus Cunha looks set to be one of Brazil\u2019s starting forwards this summer, playing every game and considered vital by Carlo Ancelotti<\/a> despite a lack of goals.<\/p>\n

Playing as a false nine, Cunha is irreplaceable, and he should already be on the plane this summer.<\/p>\n

James Scanlon \u2013 5\/10<\/p>\n

James Scanlon\u2019s Gibraltar side lost 2-0 on aggregate to Latvia, which sees them relegated to the Nations League D.<\/p>\n

Amad \u2013 7\/10<\/p>\n

Amad grabbed an assist against South Korea<\/a> in a 4-1 win as the Ivory Coast continues to look strong ahead of the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Then, Amad also impressed in a cameo against Scotland<\/a>; hopefully, he can carry this form back to United.<\/p>\n
