\n\t\u201cBob\u2019s Burgers\u201d voice actor Eugene Mirman<\/a> was hospitalized with \u201cserious injuries\u201d on Tuesday after he was rescued from a fiery car crash in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

\n\tMirman, who voices Gene Belcher on the Fox animated sitcom, was driving on the F.E. Everett Turnpike when he crashed his 2026 Lucid Gravity into the Bedford Toll Plaza shortly before noon, according to a press release from New Hampshire police. The NHPD identified the 51-year-old Mirman as the driver.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs his vehicle erupted into flames, Mirman was pulled out of his car window and assisted by witnesses including a state trooper, alongside New Hampshire Gov.\u00a0Kelly Ayotte, who happened to be driving with her security detail near the wreckage. Mirman was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI want to thank the Trooper on my security detail and the bystanders who stepped up to help at the scene of the crash for their brave lifesaving efforts today,\u201d Ayotte said in a statement shared on\u00a0X. \u201cJoe and I are praying for the full recovery of the driver who was injured today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tColonel Mark B. Hall also issued the following statement: \u201cCertainly, their actions were heroic in what they did. Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for Mirman told Variety in a statement, \u201cEugene was in a very scary car accident. He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe incident is currently under investigation. No charges have yet been filed.<\/p>\n

\n\tMirman has been credited in more than 300 episodes of \u201cBob\u2019s Burgers\u201d for voicing the only son of the family at the center of the sitcom.
