A wild bear<\/a> took up residence in a Ventura County town this week \u2014 captivating neighbors who tracked the beast through backyards and immortalized their new mascot beast in hilarious online tributes <\/p>\n

The wayward bruin wandered into Fillmore and was spotted plopping down in driveways, under a trampolines and even slipping into a jacuzzi, KTLA reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Neighbors had a front-row seat to the ferocious animal<\/a>\u2018s movements, with one even offering the bear a fish to chow down on.<\/p>\n

This is not the first bear seen in the neighborhood, another was reported by residents three weeks ago. YouTube<\/p>\n

As interest in their furry new friend grew, locals took to a community Facebook group<\/a> to share doctored photos of the bear cruising in a car and eating at a neighborhood taco truck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new guest\u2019s residency came to abrupt end on Wednesday, when wildlife authorities arrived to tranquilize the bear and haul back into the wild.<\/p>\n
