\n\tAs fans patiently await a Troy and Abed reunion to heal their hearts, Donald Glover<\/a> assures six seasons and a movie are still the plan.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2x Golden Globe winner recently teased that \u201csomething is gonna happen soon\u201d as he gave an update on , following the sitcom\u2019s six-season run on NBC and Yahoo Screen from 2009 to 2015.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re working on it right now,\u201d Glover told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cI know everybody\u2019s been saying that for forever, but I swear to you, I\u2019m not lying about this. I really think that something is gonna happen soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGlover noted that he and his former co-stars \u201cwere just on the text chain talking about it,\u201d adding of the group chat, \u201cIt\u2019s pretty lovey dovey, but when you\u2019re on the other side of the world, you will wake up to 83 messages.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter creating the comedy series, Dan Harmon penned the long-awaited Community movie with former show writer Andrew Guest, which was announced in 2024 as one of 19 projects that will benefit from $51.6 million in incentives from California\u2019s film and TV tax credits program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tPeacock officially ordered the feature<\/a> in 2022, confirming the return of stars Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong. Yvette Nicole Brown has also confirmed her return, noting in October 2024 that the script was \u201cbeing reworked<\/a>\u201d to include her character Shirley.\u00a0<\/p>\n
