The Tar Heels picked up their seventh ACC win while handing Duke their first home loss of the season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCarolina got off to a slower start in doubles after <a href=\"https:\/\/goheels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/tatum-evans\/27476\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"27476\" target=\"_blank\">Tatum Evans<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/goheels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/maddy-zampardo\/28029\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28029\" target=\"_blank\">Maddy Zampardo<\/a> dropped the first match on court three. No. 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/goheels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/oby-kajuru\/27482\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"27482\" target=\"_blank\">Oby Kajuru<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/goheels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/susanna-maltby\/27479\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"27479\" target=\"_blank\">Susanna Maltby<\/a> got the Tar Heels back in the game with a 6-4 win on court one. The senior grinded out the win, 7-5, to earn a ranked win over no. 15 Irina Balus.
