Detroit Tigers Opening Day on WILX(WILX)<\/p>\nLANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Detroit Tigers season is underway and as the team looks to get back to the postseason for a third straight year, baseball fans have a new place to watch some of their games \u2014 WILX.<\/p>\n
WILX will carry 10 Tigers games this season, beginning with the home opener against the St. Louis Cardinals at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 3. <\/p>\n
All 10 games in the Lansing area will air on WILX Channel 10 (NBC) which is available on most cable and satellite providers or free over-the-air (using an antenna) on both channel 10 and channel 29. Each game will also be simulcast on Channel 10.2 MeTV. The Tigers\u2019 pre-game and post-game shows will also air on MeTV.<\/p>\n

Tigers fans in the Flint\/Saginaw area, the June 5 and July 24 games will air on WNEM Channel 5 (CBS). The rest of the games will air on Channel 5.2, the Great Lakes Sports & Entertainment Network.<\/p>\n
In the Marquette area, Friday\u2019s home opener, as well as the games on June 5 and July 24 will air on WLUC Channel 6 (NBC). The rest of the games will air on Channel 6.2 (FOX).<\/p>\n
In the Toledo area, Friday\u2019s home opener, as well as the games on May 21, Aug. 13, Sept. 9 and Sept. 23 will air on WTVG Channel 13 (ABC). The rest of the games will air on Channel 13.2 (CW).<\/p>\n
The broadcasts will be a simulcast of the games on the Tigers\u2019 new TV home, the brand new Detroit SportsNet.<\/p>\n
