NASA<\/p>\n<p>Wiseman, 50, grabbed his stylus and entered the four-digit code in plain sight, making it impossible for viewers to miss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI appreciate you wanting to get people interested in rocket science, but maybe don\u2019t broadcast that the PIN to unlock the tablet on the rocket is either 9393 or 3939,\u201d one viewer <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BonkDaCarnivore\/status\/2039481784296161343\" rel=\"nofollow\">wrote on X.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe have him change it before returning \u2026 just in case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy guy just typed his iPad PIN directly into a 4K overhead shot\u2026 unlocking it for the entire planet,\u201d astrophysicist <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/McrobieTed\/status\/2039465936491626654\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ted McRobie wrote.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommand module getting opensourced but it\u2019s ok because it\u2019s for the \u2018gram.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAstronaut types [the] most secure pin known to man, asked to leave space agency,\u201d a third viewer said, mocking Wiseman\u2019s error.<\/p>\n<p>Wiseman was mocked following the live stream moment.  REUTERS<\/p>\n<p>Artemis crews have tablets pre-loaded with television programs they can binge watch, and read manuals and experiments about their mission.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some viewers also <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/02\/science\/viewers-decry-craptastic-live-coverage-of-artemis-ii-launch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">slammed the launch coverage<\/a>, claiming it essentially missed the moment of liftoff.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The build-up to the launch wasn\u2019t plain sailing either. <\/p>\n<p>Engineers had to tweak a temperature error in one of the Launch Abort Systems.<\/p>\n<p>NASA also scrambled to fix a communication issue linked to the flight termination system.<\/p>\n<p>NASA\u2019s Artemis II Space Launch System rocket launching from Kennedy Space Center, with bright flames and thick smoke billowing from its base. Pat Benic\/UPI\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>The Space Launch System rocket reached orbit just nine minutes after launch, gearing up for its 10-day mission.<\/p>\n<p>The crew will stay close to Earth for their first 24 hours to ensure their Orbit spacecraft is working properly. <\/p>\n<p>Artemis II mission specialist Christina Koch, the only woman part of the four-person crew, reported an issue with the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/02\/us-news\/artemis-ii-suffers-embarrassing-toilet-issue-just-hours-after-moon-launch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">capsule\u2019s toilet<\/a> moments after launch, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/space-exploration\/artemis\/theres-a-bit-of-toilet-trouble-on-nasas-artemis-2-mission-to-the-moon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Space.com reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe toilet fan is reported to be jammed,\u201d NASA spokesperson Gary Jordan said during live mission commentary.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow the ground teams are coming up with instructions on how to get into the fan and clear that area to revive the toilet for the mission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While it was being fixed, astronauts were told they could only use the toilet to poop.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Houston, we have a problem!
