\n\tWhat was meant to be Rod Stewart<\/a>\u2019s in-concert tribute to Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> has instead been met with criticism and ridicule after video of the tribute \u2014 featuring AI images of Osbourne and other gone-too-soon artists \u2014 emerged on social media.<\/p>\n \n\tDuring Stewart\u2019s last handful of concerts since Osbourne\u2019s July 22 death<\/a>, he has dedicated his song \u201cForever Young\u201d to the Black Sabbath singer. However, what originally started as a normal tribute<\/a> \u2014 with a simple image of Osbourne shown on the video screens \u2014 recently took a bizarre turn when \u201cForever Young\u201d was accompanied by the AI Osbourne \u2014 in heaven with a selfie stick in hand \u2014 taking photos of himself with the likes of Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse.<\/p>\n \n\tIn addition to the selfies with Prince, Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, and Whitney Houston, the perpetrator of the insensitive AI video also strangely decided to have Osbourne take photos with controversial artists like Michael Jackson and XXXtentacion.<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tTo add insult to the visual injury, Stewart told the Charlotte, North Carolina crowd following the \u201cForever Young\u201d performance, \u201cVery sad. A lot of those people died \u2019cause of drugs\u2026 I\u2019m still here, though!,\u201d the Charlotte Observer noted<\/a> in their review of Stewart\u2019s July 29 show.<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing news of Osbourne\u2019s death, Stewart wrote on Instagram, \u201cBye, bye Ozzy. Sleep well, my friend.
