\u201cThe voice pack was originally designed to include what we call \u2018battle chatter\u2019: lines that react to combat situations and are not tied to specific missions,\u201d wrote<\/a> game director Dmitriy Grigorenk. \u201cEach character in the voice pack got 450+ lines per 7 languages. However, it does not cover the large amount of scripted, level-specific dialogue found in Operations, which represent roughly 1500 lines for each operation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zach Cregger, the director of Barbarian and Weapons, knows what it\u2019s like to be wary of Hollywood mangling your favorite game. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Don\u2019t ruin this for me,\u2019\u201d he told The New York Times<\/a> regarding adaptations of games he loves. Resident Evil fans are worried about the same thing, especially after an allegedly leaked script raised lots of concerned eyebrows<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the idea of being pitted against a world that is hellbent on annihilating you,\u201d Cregger said of his upcoming horror adaptation. \u201cIt just feels fun and I haven\u2019t seen a movie that offers that sort of experience.\u201d He added that he knows fans will \u201ccrucify\u201d him if he violates the franchise\u2019s lore in any significant ways.<\/p>\n

But Cregger\u2019s Resident Evil movie is good, according to leaked early screening feedback <\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a test screening for Resident Evil,\u201d posted<\/a> Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman this week. \u201cI hear it\u2019s great.\u201d Resident Evil leaker Aesthetic Gamer, previously known as Dusk Golem, corroborated the buzz. \u201cYeah, grapevine murmurs floating around the rumor sphere is early test screenings around Zach Cregger\u2019s Resident Evil film is it\u2019s a great movie,\u201d they posted<\/a>. \u201cWhich really isn\u2019t that surprising after Barbarian and Weapons. RE fans will continue to complain about it though, I\u2019m sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s not going to be a Dead by Daylight 2 \u201cIt\u2019s\u2026very possible to take your game and bring it kicking and screaming into the next decade,\u201d Behaviour Interactive director Mathieu Cote told IGN<\/a>. \u201cAnd that\u2019s more what we want to do. We\u2019re not going to do a DBD 2, that\u2019s for sure. They\u2019re not going to have to buy a DBD 2 and restart from scratch.
