iOS 26.5 beta 1 arrived earlier this week<\/a> for developers, but Apple has just shipped an updated beta 1 build for testing.<\/p>\n

iOS 26.5 gets new beta 1 update just days after the first release<\/p>\n

If your iPhone is running Apple\u2019s developer beta, there\u2019s a new iOS 26.5 update available to install today. iPadOS 26.5 got a revised beta too.<\/p>\n

The first iOS 26.5 beta launched earlier this week<\/a>. But now, just days later, a revised beta 1 build of iOS 26.5 has arrived.<\/p>\n

Apple\u2019s new iOS 26.5 beta 1 build is version 23F5043k, while the previous build was version 23F5043g.<\/p>\n

Why a new build? It\u2019s likely due to unexpected bugs that Apple didn\u2019t want to wait for beta 2 before fixing. <\/p>\n

Early testing hasn\u2019t revealed any major issues that we\u2019re aware of, but it could also be related to security vulnerabilities that would go unnoticed by users.<\/p>\n

You can find the new beta by opening the Settings app on your iPhone and going to General \u21fe Software Update.<\/p>\n

The original release earlier this week featured a handful of new features<\/a>, including a \u2018Suggested Places\u2019 feature<\/a> in Apple Maps, RCS end-to-end encrypted messaging<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n
