Immediately after her heated altercation with Geno Auriemma, Dawn Staley spoke on it with Holly Rowe and gave her thoughts.<\/p>\n

Rowe asked Staley what went wrong that sparked the confrontation, to which she responded with grace:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no idea, but imma let you know this: I\u2019m of integrity. I\u2019m of integrity. So if I did something wrong to Geno, I had no idea what I did. I guess he thought I didn\u2019t shake his hand at the beginning of the game. I didn\u2019t know, I went down there pregame, shook everybody on his staff\u2019s hand. I don\u2019t know what he came with after the game. But hey, sometimes things get heated, we move on.\u201d<\/p>\n

After a close first half that ended 26-24, Staley had her squad energized and ready to go for the second half, outscoring the Huskies 38-22 to finish the game.<\/p>\n

Staley and South Carolina are not headed for their fifth National Championship appearance since 2017 and are looking to claim their fourth title. Tip-off for the title games is set for Sunday, April 5th at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.<\/p>\n
