{"id":56349,"date":"2025-08-03T22:45:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T22:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/56349\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T22:45:16","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T22:45:16","slug":"sap-is-acquiring-smartrecruiters-techcrunch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/56349\/","title":{"rendered":"SAP is acquiring SmartRecruiters | TechCrunch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAP announced Friday that it has reached an agreement to acquire recruiting software company SmartRecruiters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/2025\/08\/sap-to-acquire-smartrecruiters\/\" target=\"_blank\">a press release<\/a>, the European software giant said that SmartRecruiters \u201cpowerful, user-friendly interfaces and seamless workflows\u201d will complement SAP\u2019s existing HR tools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muhammad Alam, the SAP executive board member who leads product and engineering, said in a statement that with this acquisition, \u201cCustomers will be able to manage the entire candidate lifecycle \u2014 from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and beyond \u2014 all in a single system to streamline the experience for recruiters, hiring managers and, in particular, candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SmartRecruiters\u2019 last announced round of funding was <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/07\/20\/smartrecruiters-raises-110m-at-a-1-5b-valuation-to-expand-its-end-to-end-recruitment-platform\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a $110 million Series E<\/a> in 2021, which valued the company at $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SAP announced Friday that it has reached an agreement to acquire recruiting software company SmartRecruiters.
