She was 66.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe actress\u2019 family announced that she died on Thursday following \u201ca brave and fearless fight\u201d with stage 4 lung cancer, sharing a statement on her Instagram profile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cOn behalf of her family, it is with deepest sadness that we share this update with you,\u201d they prefaced in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWrFwQfGf4Z\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">post<\/a>. \u201cDee passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026 after a brave and fearless fight with cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe family continued, \u201cThank you to everyone who supported Dee during her battle. It blew her away to know how many people cared about her and were pulling for her. We know Dee is up there in heaven being the force of nature she always was. Now she\u2019s doing it with her angel wings on.
