NEW YORK —Knicks<\/a>center Karl-Anthony Towns<\/a> was held out of Friday night’s 136-96<\/a> win over the Chicago Bulls<\/a> because of a right elbow impingement.<\/p>\n

Towns was in a good mood as he participated in pregame warmups and took a couple of shots. However, he stood in front of the visitor’s bench and grabbed his elbow before he walked off the court toward the locker room.<\/p>\n

The All-Star center is averaging 20.1 points and 11.9 rebounds. He was replaced in the starting lineup by Mtchell Robinson<\/a>, who had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win.<\/p>\n
