It feels like a lifetime ago that Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner were the new cast members on Summer House. Since leaving the show, the two have addressed the Amanda Batula and West Wilson relationship drama<\/a> in support of their friend Ciara Miller<\/a>. \u201cObviously, we\u2019re alive. Like, we see the internet. We see it. We know what\u2019s going on,\u201d DeSorbo began on the latest episode of their podcast,\u00a0Giggly Squad<\/a>. \u201cWe will say, obviously, Ciara is our real friend in real life. So we have been talking to her, consoling her. We are behind her 100 percent. We would never capitalize or monetize off of our friend\u2019s heartbreak.\u201d She called Miller a \u201cstrong, intelligent, capable woman\u201d who will \u201cspeak her truth when it is her time\u201d as Berner nodded in agreement. DeSorbo also said drama like this is one reason they are no longer interested in being on reality TV.<\/p>\n Berner, who left\u00a0Summer House\u00a0before DeSorbo did, added that the manufactured drama of reality TV could never match the craziness of real life. \u201cThis is an example of how what actually is going on in people\u2019s lives is far crazier than anything they ever show,\u201d she explained. \u201cGiggly Squad was created after us seeing how [the show] wanted to depict fights and how they wanted to depict people, and we felt like so much was on the cutting-room floor and they weren\u2019t showing the things that they should show.\u201d Berner then gave props to Miller, recalling how, when Miller joined the cast, she was set up to be in a love triangle with Berner; they were both interested in Luke Gulbranson. \u201cI was supposed to be beefing with her from the second I met her. We should have never had a chance [to become friends]. It was immediately like, \u2018You two need to fight over a man,\u2019\u201d Berner confessed. \u201cThe second I met her, I looked her in the eye and we were like, \u2018I love you. You love cats. I fuck with you.\u2019 And she had, like, a cat ring on, and she\u2019s had my back since the day I met her.
