Marco Trungelliti is into his maiden ATP Tour final at the Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakech.

Marco Trungelliti<\/a> became the oldest first-time tour-level finalist in the Open Era on Saturday at the Grand Prix Hassan II<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 36-year-old upset top seed Luciano Darderi<\/a> 6-4, 7-6(2), advancing to the Marrakech championship match in two hours and 10 minutes. The Argentine made his first ATP Tour semi-final 402 weeks ago in Umag (2018) and now will play for tour-level glory for the first time.<\/p>\n WHAT. A. Estrella Burgos won that title.<\/p>\n Trungelliti has now put himself in position to lift the trophy on Sunday thanks to an abundance of drop shots against the Italian star Darderi.
